Externally reinforced spoke holes strengthen the area around the spoke nipple where the rim sees the most force. This provides for improved strength without adding unnecessary weight. The spoke holes are also offset, easing tubeless tire installation by allowing the tire to easily push past the rim’s bead bump. 

The 25mm internal, 28mm external wide, asymmetrical rim design of the Reserve 25 | GR also allows for better bracing angles and equalized spoke tension between the drive and non-drive side spokes.
