The disc brake specific Vanquish RC4 Performance takes all of the performance traits of our range topping Vanquish RC4 Pro wheelset but integrates them into a more affordable package. This means that our renowned aerodynamics, stability and efficiency can be experienced by an even wider scope of riders. Perfect for riding in the mountains, thundering across rolling terrain or for putting in the final sprint to the café the Vanquish RC4 Performance is an ultimately versatile wheelset.

It all starts with the rim

At the heart of any wheel is it’s rim and this is where the Vanquish 4 GP really excels. Featuring the same full carbon lay up, aero profile and tubeless compatibility as it’s more expensive sibling the rim on the Vanquish RC4 Performance ensures fantastic all round performance. Light weight but laterally stiff this rim affords climbing prowess and great acceleration while the 30mm wide, patented profile is tuned to offer the same aerodynamic prowess across tyre widths from 23mm to 28mm. These features are then topped off with our pioneering 21mm wide tyre bed that blends lower rolling resistance, increased comfort and superior cornering grip to resulting in the quickest, most assured ride within the industry.

An efficient, slick spinning build

With the rim component accounted for the build of the Vanquish RC4 Performance then focuses on the hubs. Using the same high grade bearings the Vanquish RC4 Performance spin just as freely as the rest of our wheel collection but we have encased them in our GP disc brake hubs to help control affordability. These hubs are then mated together with the rim via Sapim’s XC-Sprint bladed spokes. These ultra reliable spokes are hand built, front and rear wheels, with a 2 cross pattern ensuring maximum strength, power transfer and assured braking.

Multiple axle options available

The Vanquish RC4 Performance comes as stock with either 12mm or 15mm thru axles at the front and 12mm at the rear. We also have a conversion available separately for standard quick release skewers allowing complete compatibility with any disc brake bike.
