DT Swiss XMC 1200 Carbon 27.5" Front Wheel

The apogee of the modern trail wheel, light enough to race XC but stiff and strong enough for technical back country epics, the finest all round MTB wheels available bar none, these are the new benchmark.

Key to this are new XMC carbon rims developed especially for this wheelset, they use a high volume design with a width and depth of 30mm (24 mm internal) they offer class-leading stiffness with an unmatched strength to weight ratio.

24 mm wide hookless bead is ideal for high volume tyres running at lower pressures and allows substantial reinforcement of the outer edge of the rim, improving resistance to rock strikes with no weight penalty.

• With an average weight per pair of 1410 grams in 27.5" and just 1495 grams in 29" the XMC's are game changers in the lightweight trail wheel sector, no longer do you have to compromise by accepting narrow rims, lower stiffness or poor hub reliability, with the XMC 1200s you can have it all

• Ratchet system rear hub comes with a 36 tooth upgrade already installed, this gives almost immediate engagement, perfect for technical climbs and sudden accelerations
• A blend of DT's premium straight pull Aero Comp and Aerolite spokes offers an optimum blends of stiffness and low weight
• Rear wheels include both Shimano and SRAM XD freewheels for easy conversion
• Available in a wide variety of axle sizes and widths, including BOOST, and Predictive Steering
