Italian bicycle manufacturer Colnago has long been renowned for producing high-quality road bikes, but in recent years, the company has also been making a name for itself in the growing gravel bike market. The Colnago G3X DISC is the latest offering from the brand, and it's a gravel bike that's designed to tackle rough terrain with speed and confidence.

At the heart of the Colnago G3X DISC is a full carbon fiber frame and fork that's been specifically designed for gravel riding. The frame features a sloping top tube and plenty of clearance for up to 42mm tires, which provides ample cushioning and traction on rough terrain. The fork is also made from carbon fiber and has been designed to absorb bumps and vibrations from the road, while also providing precise steering and handling.

One of the standout features of the Colnago G3X DISC is its drivetrain. The bike is equipped with the SRAM Rival AXS 1x groupset, which provides precise shifting and efficient power transfer with a single chainring up front and a 12-speed cassette in the rear. The Rival AXS groupset is also electronic, which means that shifting is done with the press of a button, rather than the traditional mechanical levers.

The Colnago G3X DISC also features flat mount disc brakes, which provide excellent stopping power in all conditions. The bike's frame and fork are designed to accommodate up to 160mm rotors, which provides plenty of braking power for steep descents and technical terrain.
